The Synergy Gymnastics Foundation
What is the Foundation?
The Synergy Gymnastics Foundation provides support to gymnasts who are facing significant financial pressure which may prevent them from taking part in gymnastics or reaching their full potential in the sport.
We understand that such pressures often result in young people missing out on important sporting opportunities and the benefits these bring to their lives.
The foundation is open to every member of the club at every level whether you be a recreational gymnast attending once a week or a high performance gymnast competing internationally and everyone in between.
What Support do you Give?
Successful applicants are provided with credit on their I Class Pro parent portal account. This credit can be used towards monthly fees, annual membership, event entry or competition kit. We don’t provide actual cash or anything of other monetary value.
The foundation also provides signposting and support to other sources of financial assistance such as the British Gymnastics Hardship Grant.
We will be developing this page on our website to become a valuable resource for families including grant details and practical support. If there is something you feel would be useful to include please let us know.

Common Questions
FAQs
We have put together answers to common questions that we receive about the Synergy Gymnastics Foundation
GfA is designed for children aged between 4 and 15 years old. Classes are structured by age - 4/5 years old, 6/7 years old, 8/9 years old and 10 plus years old.
Yes, we offer a free taster session before your enrol. If you book a free taster session you will be automatically offered a space in the same class.
Yes, annual membership is required. Membership lasts for 12 months and includes membership to British Gymnastics and insurance cover. If you are joining from another club and already have BG membership we will discount the cost when joining Synergy,.
Children should wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement, such as a t-shirt and shorts or leggings. For safety, it's best to avoid clothing with zippers or buttons. You are welcome to wear leotards though it's not compulsory.
We ask that parents and carers stay outside of the training area during classes. This is for safety reasons and we find children concentrate better when there are less people in it.
If you think your child may need extra support to join the class please contact us so that we can make sure we have enough coaches present in the session.
