How We Ensure Equity in Practice
We apply inclusive values through our everyday actions:
- Open Access: We offer a range of classes suitable for all ages and abilities, with clear pathways for progression and no discrimination.
- Adaptability: Coaches are trained to make reasonable adjustments for gymnasts with additional needs or disabilities.
- No Bias Policy: We treat all applications fairly and avoid any form of favouritism, prejudice, or stereotyping.
- Fair Assessment: Selection for squads, events, or competitions is based on transparent criteria such as effort, progress, and attitude — never on gender, appearance, or background.
- Welcoming Environment: From signage to session structure, our club is designed to make everyone feel valued and included.
Supporting Diverse Needs
We understand that every child is unique. We welcome and support gymnasts who may:
- Have physical or learning disabilities
- Speak English as an additional language
